The White House released a 20 point “comprehensive” peace plan to end the Gaza conflict in which it called for the territory to be deradicalised and redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza.
If both sides agrees to the proposal “the war will immediately end” and Israeli forces would withdraw to the “agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release.”
During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, would be suspended, and battle lines would remain frozen until conditions were met for a complete staged withdrawal.
However, within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting the agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, would need be returned and, following this, Israel would “release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2024 including all women and children detained in that context.”
