Sabeel Wave of Prayer

Last week, the British Medical Association cut ties with the Israeli Medical Association and expressed that it will work to get the Israeli Medical Association removed from international forums over Israel’s crimes against the Gaza health system and its medical staff. The BMA also urged the UK government to back international courts in holding war criminals accountable, including Israeli doctors involved in the torture of Palestinians in Israeli prisons. Every life spared, every one less missile and bombing raid paused or withheld is something to be grateful for. This is why it is so incredible to me that the call for a ceasefire in Gaza has been seen as “controversial” in certain

A Peacemaker’s Dilemma

A Peacemaker’s Dilemma by Jonathan Kuttab Trump’s attack on Iran, dropping thirteen 30,000lb bombs plus 30 cruise missiles on three nuclear facilities alongside the arrogant declaration that “now is now the time for peace,” leaves me totally speechless and confused. I am left dumbfounded that he would follow this up by saying that if peace does not come soon he would hit many additional targets. Trump was no longer speaking of Iranians as being a great people who need only to give up plans for an
